Heard Logan will not be competing in the Grand Prix

Bummer hope it's not true. I can understand no Berg/Glass due to rehab. But no Logan too?

Berg will play in the NT. She said it in an interview during the final against Pesaro...

Also Logan Tom will play in the NT, but not in the early summer.. I think that all of you already know that.
I think that the USA NT will do as the italian team, Barbolini will use youg players and experienced palyers during the Grand Prix with lots of experiments (for example he will use Gioli as apposite! )
Anyway Berg and Tom will play the World Championship in Japan, this is sure!!

Berg and Kim Glass are not even on the WGP 19-roster. At least Logan is. There's still hope. Heh.

Guess I'm just frustrated that we haven't seen her in Team USA since Beijing! So Team USA want to try out the younger players? Whoopee. Thought Montreux and Pan Am tourneys were for that purpose?

This rumour about Logan not playing in WGP is puzzling. She's not injured and got a whole month to rest Shouldn't they be mixing in all available vets now to prepare for World Championship?

Montreux ,Pan Am Cup, WGP, or whatever other tournaments are not important at all. Most teams use these tourneys to evaluate younger players or do the player development things. For vball, only Olympics, world championships and world cup are big events. As far as I know, Italy will not send their A-team to the grand prix, even tho some big players are listed on the prelim roster.
