The U.S Women partial roster announced acoording to FIVB.org

Logan makes the team as expected!!

The U.S. roster includes a highly talented group of veteran Olympians, with Danielle Scott-Arruda, Heather Bown, Logan Tom, Nancy Metcalf, Lindsey Berg, Cynthia Barboza and Stacey Sykora. Young guns such as Kristin Richards, Alexis Crimes and Jordan Larson will also make the trip. The Americans finished second in 2007 and were runners-up in the five editions that preceded their threepeat in 2001, 2003 and 2005.

Woohooo! That's great news!

I'm surprised Jordan Larson is on the roster. Her mother passed away yesterday from cancer.

go USA! good luck in the tournament!

isnt this the screwiest roster release??? geez first there was the totally misleading press release from norceca/fivb last thurs... compound that with usav waiting until late monday afternoon to release the final roster??? so did 14 players fly out to PR or 19?

just dont really understand why usav couldnt let us know earlier... oh say at the time the selected players were probly packing for their early sunday flight... and what the heck does this mean... sounds like a lame excuse...

Teams submit a 19-player preliminary roster (O-2 Form) prior to each event, but must reduce the roster to either 12 or 14 players (O-2bis Form) depending on the regulations for the event. The O-2bis final roster must be turned in during the team’s preliminary inquiry held the day before the tournament begins.
